How to Write Conversational Copy

to gain leads on LinkedIn

You might spend hours or even days just figuring out what to include or how to write something a prospect wants to read.

Conversational copy is the key. Simply put, write as you talk.

You've heard this before. Maybe you've tried different messages.

But there's still so much you're wondering about.

  • Where do I start?
  • How do I know what to say?
  • What words should I use?

Our brand new templates have the answers.

The Basics:

  • You'll need 1 Connection Request Message and 3 Sequence Messages for The Lead Pilots campaign.
  • Each message will be crafted with a conversational tone to speak directly to your targets.
  • The Connection Request message gets sent along with the connection request. There is a limit of 274 characters with this message.
  • Sequence Message #1 – Introduction. This is where the meat of the conversation lies and where you'll show what you have to offer and provide a link to schedule a call. Adding in a direct question will greatly improve your response rate. The reader will feel compelled to respond.
  • Sequence Message #2 – Recap Version. This is a simplified version of message 1. It includes the link to talk and the message is short and sweet.
  • Sequence Message #3 – Last Chance. This is where you'll use a strong sentence which gives the bottom line of what you offer and then ask a direct question to encourage a real response.
